Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Zachariah W — 24 Sep 2015
Like the other Transformers movies before it, it contains all the essential elements that make for a successful blockbuster (action, characters, storylines, and interesting ideas). The problem is that most of these elements are not fully developed and realized to their fullest potential.
This movie was capable of being an above-average experience, but Michael Bay decided to stick with his usual tricks, which is either a good or bad decision depending on who you ask along with the fact that this film is targeted toward a specific demographic (testosterone-fueled men and boys who are craving over-the-top action and special effects in their movies).
