Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Chris S — 24 Jan 2015
More typical Bayhem but if you take it at face value and don't ask many questions, difficult though it may be, you might find yourself enjoying it. There's a lot of stupid, impossibly ridiculous chaos, bad dialogue and more "how are they still alive?" moments than ever but that's all a byproduct of the madness.
Stanley Tucci and John Goodman voicing Hound liven it up and add some decent comic relief, but I didn't find Mark Wahlberg much of an improvement and that wasn't a difficult endeavor. Kelsey Grammar was great but his character is completely superfluous.
Why the hell would lockdown need "human intelligence"? Like I said, don't ask questions because there aren't any good answers for them anyway. Just sit back, get some popcorn and enjoy the mess.
