Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Spencer K — 12 Jul 2015
Loud, lazy, clunky, uninspired another bore disappointment in the never ending Transformers series. the only reason I gave this 1 star was the effects were cool yeah, but we've come to expect that with not only these movies but movies in general nowadays and the other reason was Mark Wahlberg was literally the only redeeming quality present here.
every other actor here gave performances as robotic as the damn transformers. the trailers made this film out to be maybe a step up for this franchise but I was proved wrong yet again. and they played the factor of the Dinobot as like this huge part of the movie and it was in it for about 5 minutes? so crappy marketing, too.
I wasn't expecting anything at all and yet those already extremely low expectations were stomped on and all I got was a way to long, annoying, exhausting, awfully written, terribly directed and acted and just an outright chore to sit through.
do yourself a favor and stay away, very far away, from this movie.
