Trance is a beautifully written mystery/suspense. James McAvoy gives a great performance as Simon the art auctioneer who aids Franck and his gang in the theft of a Goya painting. Also strong performances from Vincent Cassel as Franck and Rosario Dawson as Elizabeth.
