Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Jen J — 23 May 2017
I love a good zombie flick. It isn't just because of loving the genre and all is greasy grime....a good zombie flick usually has plenty of that. But something about how humans respond to the apocalypse and what happens to those humans who are faced with the end of society.
A great zombie movie (or show, as in the case of the Walking Dead) focuses on the humans. How we treat each other in our final days says a lot about who we are, as a society, as a person. This movie has an incredible message about sacrifice, either for ourselves or others, and it teaches it in such a powerful and action packed zombie bloodbath.
Highly recommend, it is in Korean but after a while you forget about the subtitles and are pulled into these people's lives. How would you react if you wee faced with the end of times?
