Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Mike C — 06 Aug 2008
A fantastically dark film noir masterpiece that holds up exceptionally well for being fifty years old. When I sat down to watch this, I thought I would like it, but I was completely blown away by the style in which Orson Welles executed this film and he himself is so creepy.
He clearly is one of the greats and this movie even rivals Citizen Kane. A great look at a decaying border town that is unbelievably corrupt. If you haven't seen it... see it now!
