Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Ed Q — 23 Oct 2008
Despite a few questionable casting choices, Touch of Evil remains a technical masterpiece and a wonderful example of Welles' fecund imagination. The story starts with a bang and never lets up, perfectly balancing noir influenced abstraction with a sense of gritty reality.
