Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Greg S — 31 Jan 2010
Despite Charlton Heston being the worst movie Mexican I have ever seen, this is probably one of the most interesting noirs I've seen. It starts out with one of the most famous openings in film history and leaves you on edge and on certain throughout the whole film.
It's also a fabulous meditation on corruption of power and the dynamics of Border Culture. A must see!
