Despite some dubbing/audio issues in a couple of scenes, "Touch of Evil" is an amazing piece of noir that is timely in its portrayal of the drug war on the U.S.-Mexico border; it's incredibly shot and a great cast (even Heston done up to be Mexican is okay, Dietrich gets some good lines) that is centered around Welles' performance as the out of control detective.
