Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Andrew D — 27 Jan 2012
Not sure what to think of this one, I may have to watch it again to fully appreciate it. The cinematography and music are great. The story isn't very engaging, though, and some of the technical aspects are awful.
Update: definitely better the second time around. Charlton Heston is over-the-top, but Orson Welles is great. Fantastic cinematography and edgy material.
