Touch of Evil '58 directed/written/co-starred by Orson Welles, and Charlton Heston in lead role. This is a blasting film-noir, and being one of the last on genre of film-noir; with really some sinister elements. Truth at the ending of the film is such a devastating both for haters or lovers of Quinlan-character. Welles's re-editing version in vision of what he had in mind about the film, which brought finest touch of good-luck for a beautifully directed film like Touch of Evil, with applauding performance from Charlton Heston.

Russell Metty has offered one of finest as well as grand works of cinematography. Close-up of face-shots from blow-angles, is I guess the macabre feel of scenes, especially the last 13-minutes scene is something of great thriller, with respect to both cinematography and editing, followed by taunting music-score by Henry Mancini.
