Review of Touch of Evil (1958) by Gregory M — 30 Mar 2013
First of all, I'm embarrassed by how long long it actually took me to sit down and finally watch this gem, especially seeing as how I'm a HUGE fan of film noir. Touch of Evil is a perfect example of the kind of movies I would love to make: a sinister, dark detective story punctuated by very real performances and innovative cinematography that so elegantly contrasts light and shadows.
