Review of Torn Curtain (1966) by Brian F — 25 Mar 2007
A quite underrated Hitchcock film. Since this one was always considered minor Hitchcock, I hadn't seen it since I was a kid. Well, let me tell you, I watched it again and it's quite good. Newman and Andrews are stellar, the suspense is almost unbearable at times and you've got that spectacularly extended murder scene.
If you've always given it a pass, give it a chance. It's no Rear Window, but it's pretty darn good.
