Review of Torn Curtain (1966) by Daniela D — 23 Feb 2015
Torn Curtain is a well made spy thriller, but slightly disappoints as a Hitchcock film. Not up to the calibre were used to this follows a scientist (Paul Newman), who defects to the Russians in Germany, but this high profile & very public defection is a fake as he obtains plans for an important scientific experiment.
A nice pace, cast performances, music & atmosphere as always makes these genre films enjoyable & this certainly contains all of those.
