Review of Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970) by Alexandre C — 11 Aug 2007
An accurate and chronologically correct portrayal of an event that's compared and scrutinized to this date. The combination of American and Japaneese directors and producers help prevent the biases and get the views of each side that earlier films couldn't produce.
The production was so elaborate, that in the film Midway, released four years later, took scenes of destruction from the attack on Pearl Harbor in Tora! Tora! Tora! and used the same images for the attack on Midway.
Goes to show that the effort put in Tora!x3 is worth a look.
