Review of Tomb Raider (2018) by Luke S — 27 Jul 2018

I've read so many reviews giving this movie less credit than it deserves. Being a big gaming fan, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the new origin story kept in closely with the story told in the game, a few scenes matching parts of the game almost exactly.

Alicia Vikander was a perfect match for The game version of Lara, and gave a Stella performance.

So many times have I held out hope for movies based on their video game counter part and been sorely disappointed. I really am praying that these negative reviews won't affect the possibility of a sequel.

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
