Didn’t expect much from a game IP and film tie in like Tomb Raider. Ended up being a fun enough gritty action film in it's own right. More grounded and down to earth than the fantastical games. It did suffer from some predictability tropes and clichés.
The main disconnect I never actually felt I was watching Lara Croft on screen. This film could of been about any random action hero looking for her dad and finding an unexpected adventure.
