Review of Tokyo Sonata (2008) by Evan P — 30 May 2009
In many ways, this film is like the recent indie film Lymelife, with a more contemporary setting. I think I like it better because it seems more subtle. And it seems to have some of the mystical realism going on that's so popular among Latin American auteurs.
Highly recommended. I think it will be here only through Thursday.
