How crazy are the Japanese? (And this is crazy in the best possible way). I present to you exhibit A, the gore in this movie. I now present exihbit B, the plot of this movie,a nd finally C, the special effects of this movie.

This is all with the greatest possible respect and reverence, as I love the madcap insnaity on display, and really enjoy how they in the Orient take soo much campy and fun pride in things like this. The movie looks great, the acting is good, but it's the staging of the action and all the promised gore that makes this soo much fun for me, since it becomes like a giant cartoon.

Also, there are some seriously impressive shots, like this one on a train, I don't want to give it away, but it's good.
