Review of To Return (1982) by Richard V — 02 Nov 2008
Whether you like all his movies or not, there's no denying that Pedro Almodovar is one of the most consistent, confident, and original directors today. And he continues with this movie, which, even with it's slightly meandering storyline, is extremely well-acted by an ensemble of wonderful ladies, has Pedro's usual flair on the technical side, and is a tribute to women, loss, and forgiveness.
Also loved the ending!
