Review of To Return (1982) by Luis Angel G — 03 Apr 2009

An interesting film of small town secrets, and interpersonal and close nit family histories and problems and more secrets, but some how not a mystery per se...actually felt and looked a bit like a Filinei movie at times, also interesting that males are nearly completely ab absent from this film, even as a concept.

...this is only my second Almodovar, but I am already starting to see some thematic patterns....one of which is that his movies don't end up being anything like what they start out to be....
