Not the cracking epic I was hoping it would be, but I just HAD to watch it! And I'm really glad I did, even though you have to be a bit patient with this Englishman. It's very long and there seems to be little conflict within the extended flashbacks.
Still, with some dazzling imagery, this is an achingly beautiful tale of love lost.
