Review of To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) by Lee S — 05 Aug 2007
Genius! Bleak, gritty, brutal, real and sleazy as one would expect from a film focusing on this subject matter.
Great acting from a power house cast and a genuinely engaging story that will have you living the highs and the lows. The antagonist is evil and the protagonist slightly less so. Cant believe this classic of modern filmmaking is ignored as much as it is. OK the Wang Chung soundtrack is slightly dated but fits and lifts this film off the screen. But this was a film of the time not for the time.
