Review of Titanic (1997) by Rex A — 13 Oct 2013
The Titanic disaster has hundreds of real, heartrending stories. Why did Cameron pick such a rote story and paper-thin, dull characters? It sure is respectful to what the Titanic was and has great atmosphere, but the plot feels so stale and lazy.
This is one of those love-it-or-hate it movies, and I certainly don't love it.
