Review of TiMER (2009) by Kristi M — 08 Dec 2013
I love this movie's concept about knowing who the "one" will be so that you have a "guarantee" about relationships and know that all relationships before you zero out are temporary.
Therefore as they bring up love they talk about never experiencing it before or having a first or second love in their life, they just wait to zero out so they had no point in falling in love knowing that the relationship will end.
A lot of people hated the ending, but the thing is that we already do have "timers", however we go through the process of elimination and experience love and heartbreak. Ooma experienced what everyone in our real life experiences and that's having a first love.
Odds are always stacked against that person being the "one" so your timers 90% of the time wouldn't match in real life. It's a bittersweet ending but one that is the most thought provoking in light of looking at relationships.
