Review of Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie (2012) by Craig T — 09 Mar 2012
----- 1st thing, I've only watched the show once, but I never felt compelled to watch it again. It's not because I didn't like it.... it just didn't hook me.
----- The film felt like right out of the "Hobo with a Shotgun" universe, but with multiple extended cameos and even more humorous.
---- I don't know, I'm the type of person who loves this type of humor. I really wanted to love it, but I just didn't. The humor in this film felt very overwhelming. They had me totally for the first 10 minutes, but then they just lost me at the half-way mark. I laughed a lot at certain scenes like the introduction of the movie with the "Chef Goldblum" skit, some of the others consisted with me questioning if I should laugh or not?
---- About 50% of the movie worked, the other 50% was extreme and random gross-out and shock humor which includes anal sex, extreme bath-tub defecation, and penis piercings.
---- I know what they were trying to accomplish which was to please the fans, but it just didn't work for me. :(.
