A totally hilarious thriller (though many of the laughs are unintentional) about Eastwood trying to find a serial killer of prostitutes. The "drama" here is that Eastwoodâ??s character shares more with the serial killer than he would like to think, namely the potential for a sadistic dark side with womenâ??as the gratuitous scene that explains the "tightrope" of the title tells us just in case we couldnâ??t figure it out.
Most of the "kinky" scenes are a laugh riot and worth watching the film for. The best is when Eastwoodâ??s character finds his way into a gay bar.
