Review of Thunderbolt and Lightfoot (1974) by Saman K — 01 Mar 2008
Fun, quirky, and sometimes pleasantly intense, film that has many particular sensibilities that feel way ahead of its time.
The film does seem to drag on a bit. Also, its wacky elements seem to merely to pay homage to the slapstick buddy buddy genre. Nonetheless a great film that pays enough respect to its genre, yet creates something unique and fresh for the future. Not to mention, quite a shocking ending.
