Review of Thunderball (1965) by Simon D — 10 Sep 2010
Somebody told me that Thunderball wasn't worth watching, they were well wrong. In fact, I've been watching them in chronological order and I reckon this is best so far. The setting is always important for a good film and the Bahamas is perfect for this undersea adventure.
Some nice typical Bond touches, particularly the jet pack at the start and the plane winch rescue at the end.
