Review of Thunderball (1965) by Brendan N — 30 Apr 2010
Bloated and indeed a step down for the series but never the less a worthy campanion to the three previous bond films. sean connery again returning to the role that would forever forge he's career. the film takes a bloated turn and throws everything at us except the kitchen sink. the villain is interesting but never as compelling as goldfinger.
This always had the hard task of following a classic like goldfinger but never let that deter you from an interesting action film.
Better then most this is another reason why james bond was so successful.
