Review of Thunderball (1965) by Compi24 — 29 Jul 2018
Its first half may be overencumbered with exposition, buildup, and the occasional head scratcher of a scene/moment/line/etc, but as soon as we arrive in the Bahamas, "Thunderball" immediately becomes a more fun and dramatically ironic spy actioner filled with some of the more recognizable elements that we all know Bond films for.
It still has nothing on "Dr. No" and "Goldfinger," but it's also nowhere near bad or even overrated.
