Review of Thunderball (1965) by The-Lords A — 25 May 2013
What I enjoy so far about the Bond films is the SPECTRE organization. When they are featured as the main villian, such as they are in "From Russia With Love", it makes the plot much more fun to watch.
Thunderball is my 2nd favorite bond film out of the 4 so far that I have seen, In order. The editing, plot, and typical Connery charm is outstanding. I enjoyed this film more than "Goldfinger".
I felt that Bond actually had more danger than usual and felt scared for him. The different bond girls worked so well into the plot, and the underwater scenes are well filmed and choreographed it puts you right into the scene.
Again, another excellent bond film.
