Review of Thunderball (1965) by Chen U — 04 Feb 2017
Connery's fourth outing as the iconic spy is a more laid back, slower paced style of movie. All the elements are there but it floats on the notion that the bigger and more bloated it is, the better.
Still, there are memorable villains, action sequences and femme fatales. Claudine Auger is a lovely Bond girl and a good companion for 007. This film is long but still superior to the Connery Bonds that followed.
