Review of Thunderball (1965) by James D — 26 Nov 2008
After the huge success of Goldfinger, it would have been very hard for Terence Young to reassert his dominance as THE James Bond director, and yet in the fourth film in the longest running cinematic franchise, he does it with flying colours.
Thunderball sees Bond facing his archnemesis, SPECTRE, for another round after the events of From Russia with Love. Sheer brilliance throughout.
