Review of Three O'Clock High (1987) by Todd L — 28 Mar 2010
An 80's classic that never really found it's audience. We used to watch it all the time on cable. The story of a high school kid doomed to an after-school fight trying to get out of it is very original, as is director Phil Joanou's approach to the material.
However, there are a few weak spots...Joanou's use of odd camera angles and strange camera moves and zooms is entertaining in some spots while in others it give the movie a "fresh-out-of-film-school" look.
