It's going to be one of those days.

Jerry Mitchell is a nerdy, ordinary kid who works at his high school supply shop and hangs out with his nerdy friends and little sister. A new kid arrives at school with a reputation for beating teachers and his fellow students. Jerry's life is turned upside down when he is assigned to write an article on the new student and the new kid decides he would rather beat his brains in that provide a story. Can Jerry prevent an altercation with the new kid?

"You can take that newspaper of yours and wipe your dick with it.".

Phil Joanou, director of State of Grace, Final Analysis, Entropy, Gridiron Gang, and the upcoming Hammer Down, delivers Three O'Clock High. The storyline for this picture is fascinating and I enjoyed the primary plot. The subplots were a bit frustrating and the acting was only average. The cast includes Casey Siemaszko, Richard Tyson, Phillip Hall, and Jeffrey Tambor.

"It is clear that the cricket is no match for the crab scorpion.".

I remember seeing this movie as a kid on HBO and always being frustrated with Casey Siemaszko's character. There were several decisions throughout the movie that seemed out of character and awkward. Ultimately, if he got beat up in the end, I wouldn't have been that upset. Nevertheless, this is one of those feel good pictures that is worth watching but not worth owning.

"You guys are taking odds on my destruction?".

Grade: C+.
