Review of Three Days of the Condor (1975) by Shamik M — 08 Jun 2008
Reasonable cold war thriller - nowhere near as great as it's made out to be - and certainly ready for a re-make. Although some characters seem almost unnecessary (Dunaway serves no real purpose, as does the pointless love scene), the principal actors do a good job (i've rarely seen Von Sydow do anything bad) - but you cant help thinking post-Bourne what a modern take on this could be like.
