Review of Three Days of the Condor (1975) by Nathan M — 04 Apr 2015
"Three Days Of The Condor" has a plot that is much like a lot of on the run movies such as "The Fugitive." But this film has a much slower pace than that film has. For this reason the film does not have as much suspense as that film does.
Robert Redford in the main role does do a good job displaying genuine paranoia throughout the film making believe that he is actually on the run.
The script is very good and has many conversations among the characters along with much of the exhibition.
But the plot just got very messy and convoluted as the film went on and just became a little bit of a mess.
The score does not add any suspense as it mostly has a dated and jazzy tone that sort of took me out of the experience.
The film is very well made and is directed very well but just needed a little bit more suspense and have a less jumbled plot.
It is still very well-made though.
