The film comes close to going over the edge with the main charachter's obsession but the raw and frayed emotions are understandable and the subtle twists in the plot create Continued intense interest in the story line.
for my money, it's a better picture than the shape of water and the 11 percentage point beat in the number of people who liked it does not surprise me in the least.
