Review of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017) by Masaya K — 19 Apr 2018
It's always interesting when you take talented funny men like Sam Rockwell and Woody Harlson and toss them into an emotional roller coaster of a movie. Obviously, films like this show just how great they can be and the true range of their talents.
Character developement is a large part, which is always highly appreciated. This movie is not for the weak, however. I laughed (a little), I cried (pretty much the entire time), and I felt very unsatisfied at the end (which often turns a good movie into a great one.
It feels as though the story continues on without me and I leave the theater in a state of contemplation). Movies that make you think are what I live for and I certainly got a lot of living out of this one.
