Review of Threads (1985) by Lady D — 15 Mar 2008
No less powewrful than when I first saw it in 1984. Its low budget & limited special effects probably make it more realistic and easier to relate to. Makes you realise what could quite easily have happened (according to a recent Channel 4 tv documentary it very nearly did happen in October 1983-also worth watching if you can get hold of it).
