Review of Threads (1985) by Matt C — 03 Oct 2012
There must be a generation of 80s kids still mentally scarred from watching this film. A BBC dramatisation which methodically examines what would happen to a British city (Sheffield) during and after a Nuclear attack.
Nearly 30 years later it still retains a huge impact on the audience playing almost as a documentary. It loses its way a little as it fast towards to 10 years on but nevertheless it's still an incredible piece of work.
