Review of Threads (1985) by Cam K — 17 Dec 2008
An extremely bleak, brutal and uncompromising look at the possible effects of nuclear war, both physical and societal. The narrative, such as it is, doesn't offer particularly interesting characters, and the inclusion of WWII Blitzkrieg images betrays its low budget, but the depiction of post-apocalyptic horror is unparalleled.
