One of the first color sci-fi flicks ever made. And one of the coolest looking of them all. At points, some of the scenes really pulled me in (and not via green beam :P). Special effects were considered fantastic for their time, a few of which hold up quite well.
Reminds me a little of the Star Trek episode 'Let That Be Your Last Battlefield'. Also, this film is shown & referenced in my very favourite childhood movie 'Explorers'. But overall, a little lacking in direction & purpose forces a less than perfect rating.
