Review of This Film Is Not Yet Rated (2006) by Sarah A — 04 Nov 2008
Though most of what they talked about was whiney, they made some really good points. The MPAA shouldn't be a secret society, and they should have actual regulations instead of just giving a movie a rating based on their moods that day.
Also, they should take movie violence more seriously because violence is what has the strongest effect on kids whose parents are so stupid and lazy as to let the TV raise their kids for them. The MPAA focuses way too much attention on sexual content when they should be paying more attention to violence, and especially violence against women.
