Review of Things to Do in Denver When You're Dead (1995) by Elena E — 21 Jan 2005
:fresh: One thing I have noticed a lot about this movie is that people seem to be comparing it to other movies like The Usual Suspects or something Quentin Taratino did. If you put all reviews that make references to that aside and just watch this movie without thinking about some other flick then this movie is really enjoyable.
The cast is lead by Andy Garcia who plays Jimmy "The Saint" Tosnia and while he may be refered to as dead or dull I found his performance with this character to be quite the opposite. The movie itself has a plot that may seem familiar but the characters bring life into the story and its humorous moments as well as more serious ones gives the movie an original script.
I would definetly recommend this film to anyone with an open mind who is looking for a few hours of entertainment.
