Review of Things to Come (1936) by Jason C — 08 Sep 2009
What!?! H.G. Wells wasnt a complete socialist who thought that technology would be the savior of mankind only to have his views devastated by war...NO WAY!
The movie gets two stars for what it was when it came out, other than that, not too impressive. One thing I can say is that Im glad when Stanley Kubrick watched it he was so disgusted with what people considered "classic film science-fiction", he decided to take it upon himself to reinvent it...I think we all know what he created after that.
