Review of Things to Come (1936) by Masorad ( — 22 Jan 2010
The score here is like weasels in your head, but everything else deserves attention. Yes, humanity as the protagonist is somewhat stolid. Yes, the effects are childish and/or blockbuster for their time.
And the names Cabal & Passworthy are bad Pynchon. But for a Limey scared-shitless existential pre-war popcorn movie, this is aces.
