Review of Thieves' Highway (1949) by Al M — 05 Mar 2011
A pretty good noir that transposes the usual noir locale (big city at night) to highways and a fruit market. conte plays a man bent on avenging his father who was wronged by a crooked produce wholesaler in the san francisco market. but things don't work out the way he planned...
I liked it for the most part but the ending let me down - seemed forced.
