Review of Then She Found Me (2007) by Michelle C — 12 Jun 2012
This is directed to Nigel Andrews of the big bad Financial Times comment about Helen Hunts PERFECT performance in the scene where she lets out her emotions to her mother Bette Midler. The TONE of voice and her movements buddy as you pointed out.........is the ACTING CRAFT at its finest. Wake up and maybe go to a few acting classes cause you have ZERO idea what that scene was about and what transpired at that moment of her character. My name is Spencer Kennedy from Toronto Ontario Canada. Id LOVE to meet you and do a few acting scenes with you. Then we can see who the BIG SHOT craft of acting reviewer is. Then maybe you will shut your mouth before opening it up in regarding ACTING and TRUE emotions coming through the body and voice.
And to Tim Evans of Sky Movies....."bagged collection of tics and mannerisms".....I already know you are pointing toward the SAME scene a Nigel.
Again, LEARN the CRAFT of acting and how the TONE of voice and the TICS and MANNERISMS transfer through the body during a CLIMACTIC emotional time for the character. Like she did in the hospital scene after loosing her child.
Those scenes boys.....are Oscar gold.
Wakie wakie !!!
